Celebrating 100 Years of Fatima

Fatima is the sacred lord of Fatima. 100 years ago three children witnessed the appearance of the Holy Spirit. One girl out of the three children communicated with Mary but suddenly she disappeared and promised to appear after six months. The three children were bewildered by her appearance and ran swiftly to their homes. 

At first, their parents didn’t believe them but sooner or later they believed in the incident. It was believed that during this incident it rained throughout. After the lady disappeared the sun appeared with dazzling light surrounding the sky, which was later referred to as The Miracle of Sun. The area where the lady was encountered became a way to pilgrimages. It appears that the sun danced in an unusual way. Some people also acclaimed that the saw the face of Mary. 

It was also believed that sun was changing its shape. The sky appeared greyish in color and gave the pearly appearance. The sun was covered with the clouds. Moreover, the dazzling light which appeared turned suddenly blue in the sky. This was an amazing view of the people who were encountering it.

This doesn’t mark the end of this historical event. It was the beginning of the new era where people conducted various mock shows to highlight this incident. In the region where this incident took place every year anniversary of this incident was celebrated with all delight.
